I couldn’t help myself. Currently the exhibition at the center of the largest Mall in Hong Kong is Barbie. Barbie Couture, Barbie Chandeliers, all within a bright pink Barbie Mansion. Ken was there too.
Local ‘SCRAP’ shop: It’s as if everyone had to empty their garages and categorize the stuffs into separate piles. Then tell those piles to join up with other peoples piles. Next, to make shops out of each pile and line tiny ally ways with the shops. Toss a few noddle shops here and there to feed the shoppers…home.
What are the odds that the best coffee house is right across the street? Today I sat for a while reading and enjoying the familiar smells of coffee when a group rolls in with cameras and good looks for an interview or documentary of some kind. Within minutes I’m engulfed as one of them at a table of 6, cameras on. What do I do? Nothing, just sit and read. ‘Westerner enjoys coffee at local Italian roaster’…here 4 days and already famous as the HA.
